Robot

Blind Robot is the prototype of an autonomous mobile Robot that orients itself in space by means of haptic perception. A rod, changeable in length, and moveable in a vertical as well as horizontal direction, is connected at the frontal side of the robot. This rod is equipped with touch sensors. A microcomputer interprets the incoming data and navigates the behaviour of the robot. This data is interpreted on a flat screen, which is also part of the robot. Locomotion is achieved via two independent engines. A led accumulator delivers the energy supply for a time frame of several hours.
