Polymono-log is an evolutionary text that is written by a potentially unlimited number of authors. Everybody who is reading the text on the webpage can add his personal contribution to it.

There are five streams of characters provided, that evolve from a random set of characters to a meaningful word. The authors can control these streams to formulate their contributions, which afterwards are added to the polymono-log.

All contributions are evoked by the mediums demand of the artificial communication situation.

Also their content is influenced by the initial set of characters that becomes a source for asociations. One word out of the previous contribution to the polymono-log is added to this initial set of characters so that a connection to the existing text is implied.

The polymono-log can be regarded as both a monological text and a polylogical chatroom. The con-tributions are placed somewhere in between machine-generated character strings and individual statements. It is the way in which the different authors and the machine interact that makes the polymono-log a meaningful text or a random sequence of characters.
